The Leprosy Mission provides a range of vocational training to young people affected by leprosy, and you can help provide the equipment they need to start their very own business and the opportunity to build a livelihood. Your gift will provide a sewing machine specially adapted for a young entrepreneur who is disabled in their hands or feet.

 

An inspiration to all

 

Farida Farzna was treated for leprosy when she was just 12 years old. She later took part in a Leprosy Mission training course in sewing, and received a sewing machine to begin her own business. Farida is now able to support herself, and also enjoys training other young girls affected by leprosy in her community who look up to her for guidance and inspiration.
