Lakhan was a popular vegetable stall holder in the town of Allahabad, India, until he developed leprosy. All but his loyal customers turned their backs on Lakhan, and he was worried for the future of his young family. The Leprosy Mission treated Lakhan's leprosy, and gave him vegetable seeds to help kick-start his business again. He is now able to send his children to school.
