Nepal and India Adventures

We are pleased to offer you two very exciting opportunities to visit Nepal and India in 2011.

These once in a lifetime trips are being run in conjunction with the Leprosy Mission Australia.

"Everywhere we went we met fabulous people who are so talented and have dedicated their whole lives to working with leprosy-affected people. The nicest part of the trip was that the whole three weeks was bathed in prayer - as is the Leprosy Mission itself."

- Geraldine Slyfield from New Plymouth, India Awareness Tour Team Member 2010

Trek for Treatment: Nepal
29th October - 14th November 2011

UntitledThis trip will be life-changing! You will spend time at the Leprosy Mission Nepal's Anandaban hospital in Kathmandu where you will see first-hand the difference the Mission is making in the lives of people affected by leprosy. There will be opportunities to meet staff and people affected by leprosy as they transition from receiving medical care to developing self-care skills for leprosy-related disabilities.

You will have an opportunity to reflect on the Leprosy Mission's work as you trek above the Kathmandu Valley with outstanding Himalayan panoramas and sunrises not to be missed. The trek will provide an interesting blend of culture, incredible mountain scenery and relaxation. Participants need to be physically fit.
