What We Do
Micro Enterprise/Finance/Credit
At the heart of micro enterprise is empowerment: helping people to help themselves. This is achieved by establishing small savings and loan groups.
People affected by leprosy, disability or poverty or who are excluded for other reasons work together and support each other in new small-business initiatives. The type of enterprise depends on what is viable or most beneficial for an individual or group. Successful examples include fattening cattle, keeping poultry and setting up small shops.
Microfinance businesses are started with little capital, so that more people can improve their lives by enhancing their family's income.
