The Leprosy Mission New Zealand Spending

New Zealanders Want to Know • 20 September 2009

The Leprosy Mission New Zealand is pleased to present its annual accounts to its supporters. The report shown here is a summarised review of the unaudited 2008-09 financial accounts.

Full audited accounts for 2008 - 2009 will be available from November 2009. The summary Annual Review is available to view here, and a printed version can be obtained by request here or contacting us on freephone: 0800 862 873.

Main income streams continue to be from three sources:

1. Individual giving, support from churches, trusts and other organisations.

2. Bequests

3. Government grants.

The Leprosy Mission New Zealand is sincerely grateful for the continuing generous support it receives each year.  We are thankful to each person and organisation who has contributed to our work, sharing our vision of a world without leprosy, stigma and discrimination.

We remember with respect and gratitude our supporters who passed away and thoughtfully remembered The Leprosy Mission New Zealand with a bequest gift in their Will.  We also appreciate the opportunities provided by the New Zealand Government to access funds for overseas development through NZAID.

On behalf of people experiencing leprosy, with who we work, we say "thank you".  Without your involvement none of our achievements would be possible.
