New Website Live!

More changes planned • 01 July 2009

The Leprosy Mission New Zealand's new website is live!  Over the past few months, a team has been redesigning this new website to make the site easier for viewers and staff to use.  It will provide up-to-date information on the work of TLMNZ and the needs of partners, particularly people experiencing leprosy.

The new website is smoother, faster and more streamlined and most importantly, it allows TLMNZ to update the information directly, without calling on the services of an IT specialist.

Visitors to the new website can look forward to weekly updates comprising:

  • news from the field
  • campaign and appeal progress
  • reports from grassroots partners, and more.

Getting involved in eradicating the causes and consequences of leprosy has never been easier than now.  Supporters can go online to become a SEED (Social Empowerment Economic Development) Partner or sign up to Cure One person in Bangladesh.  A new Advocacy team enables motivated New Zealanders to be more proactive in the fight for the rights of people experiencing stigma and discrimination as a result of leprosy or social exclusion.

e-Newsletters begin in September 2009. Visitors can sign up for the short email communications, which will be low in megabytes but high in interesting and relevant information.  To receive the e-Newsletters signup here

There is so much information to share - and now finding the information and getting involved is easier than ever before.  A great deal is happening at The Leprosy Mission New Zealand as it works towards eradicating the causes and consequences of leprosy.
