We are very pleased to bring you the Spring edition of inTouch magazine for you and your family to enjoy.

We are particularly excited about this issue because it marks the launch of our very special Moneybox Rocks competition which you can read about on page 5.  For over 50 years, New Zealander's and their families have been collecting their spare change in Leprosy Mission moneyboxes in support of leprosy-affected families living in Bangladesh, one of the poorest countries in the world. It never ceases to amaze us how a little bit of small change can mount up to create enormous change in these communities and transform lives. We hope you and your family will get involved! 

As you know, recent changes to government funding of overseas aid have left us with a one million dollar funding shortfall. Thankfully, we have had an overwhelming response to our Urgent Appeal to Protect Our Overseas Projects which we launched in July, and to date we have raised over $250,000.  However, although we are feeling much more positive about the future of our projects, we are not out of the woods yet, and still desperately need to raise more. You can read more about the changes to New Zealand Government funding and what they mean for our mission on page 3
