The SEED
(Social Empowerment Economic Development) programme creates a
special 'partnership' between you and specific communities in
need.
Ridding the world of leprosy can be achieved through a combination of medical care, dispelling the myths and stigma surrounding the disease, and empowering families to lift themselves out of poverty.
As a SEED Partner you can help make this happen!
You will help provide vital medical treatment and care for people affected by this devastating disease. And your donations will help families and communities escape the cycle of poverty and stand up against leprosy-related stigma and discrimination.
You can give however much you can afford each month. Why not start with a monthly gift of $25.00? Download an automatic payment form and become a SEED Partner now.
The cycle of poverty and stigma cannot be changed overnight, which is why long term regular giving is important to successfully creating a brighter future for those in need. The Leprosy Mission New Zealand has SEED Partnership programmes in Nepal, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, India and China.

As a SEED Partner, you will receive an annual update about the progress and development of your chosen community. Or you may decide to donate monthly to where the need is greatest, in which case you will receive an update that covers all of the countries where we work.
Reliable and ongoing support helps dramatically reduce our administration costs. This means that more of your donation goes to those in need. It also allows for long-term planning and continued assistance in communities that need our help. Our aim is the total eradication of leprosy. We are also working to end the poverty, stigma and injustice that so often go hand and hand with the disease.
